Funny how you don't list the statistics on how many children actually die from measels...you say that someone who says i survived is dumb because many kids did not get to grow up becasue they died...how many? I would like to see statistics that show # of kids that die from the measels (in developed countries) vs. the # of kids who die or have complications from vaccinations?

We never see those because it would show that the vaccination is much more dangerous than the actual disease.

Here in the US alone more than 34,000 people each year die or are severely injured from vaccinations you can check out the VAERS database yet no one seems to care about these people they are expendable...what a joke...

It is nice to know that the nano transmitters in the vaccines are working. Soon everyone will hear my voice.

This shit will just not die! I went out to the BBC's Have Your Say thread and only read the first page of replies. Except for a few sensible posts, it made my teeth itch to read what people seem to believe about vaccinations.

Why do children have to needlessly die before these asses see the truth (if then)?

I've got a very well written post by Elyse Anders on my web site about the same subject re-posted from skepchick.org (with permission). It's worth a read.

Don't forget the all-important one:

Myth #12: Being a celebrity makes you intelligent and knowledgable about subjects you previously knew nothing about.

Ms McCarthy again, of course...

I think we should start our own Measles Myths.

Myth #9: Measles make you cool and sexy

Myth #10: Measles only infect people who are very clean (wait, that's a head-lice myth).

Myth #11: If it takes some children dying of measles for Big Pharma come up with safe vaccines, then so be it. (Ooops, that last one was Jenny McCathy's ACTUAL BELIEFS. Grr)

Anyone got any more to add?

Myth #8: Boxing gives you measles.
I always read these lists expecting to find at least one myth I believed in, but there never is. It's frustrating that the fallacies people believe about vaccinations aren't even a bit convincing or ambiguous.
I have no medical training and no particular interest in any of the fields related to vaccination... Why do so many people find all of this so hard to grasp?
