I tuned in to the BBC News Channel while Curiosity was landing, but they weren’t covering it in favour of showing two wankers chatting in the Olympic Stadium at 6am when nothing was on anyway. The other news channels did thankfully go with the ‘men landing a mobile laboratory – the scale of which has not been done before – on another planet’ angle.

The terrifying thing is that, for two weeks, Sky News is better than BBC News.
