Thanks for talking about adult autism. It strikes a chord. It’s disappointing but not surprising to hear about the challenges along the road to diagnosis, but good to hear that an answer helps put things in context.

Do you guys have the webpage that was used for the initial autism indication?

On the off chance you read these comments, which autism test did you initially take Mike? Just listening to you talk about yourself and the aspects of autism was like listening about myself, almost to a tee.

I just tried this one https://www.aspietests.org/raads/ and got 172 which is 22 above the threshold for ASD in men.

I have had an almost identical identical experience with being fobbed off asking for the possibility of having adult autism…but so far I only encountered a wall of ‘”and why do you want to know?” assuming I am coping, but I don’t really cope…I had all sort of troubles with jobs and hang on only out of sheer stubborness..
what service did you contact (answer privately if you do not want to write here).
    Thanks!
